I’m a first-generation college graduate and PhD student in the Molecular and Cellular Biology program at Arizona State University, where I research myxoma virus. One part of my work focuses on the role of DHX29 as a supportive host factor in leporipoxvirus infection, while the other is on developing myxoma virus as an oncolytic to treat metastatic melanoma. Outside the lab, I enjoy photography, history, and the gym.
